Connection with Anime? 3lr2p

I just started reading this and on like page 3 I noticed that there was a major plot discrepancy between the manga and the anime of the same name ie an extra character. Are the two connected, or are they 2 different stories? r2ct

While I have to it I've neither read nor watched either, from what I've read about the title, it's based on a dating sim. In that vein, the anime chose one possible path, and ran with it. The manga, I believe, actually has several different parts, each of which is dedicated to a different possible path(i.e. girl, I assume).
Disclaimer: I could be way off base.

But a slew of other dating sim based anime/manga correlate with each other ne?

Nah, I've been meaning to get around to it... At first I didn't know if I should bother, 'cause I thought I might, like, post twice, and then jump ship. Now I'm pretty well past that point, but... I have a problem with procrastination.
I guess I could do it right now. But I'm sleepy.
Tomorrow it is.
As far as dating sim based manga and anime... I think it's a mixed bag. Again, I don't read/watch all that many, so my first-hand knowledge is limited, but I think there are a lot of both. I mean, as much as I've read, it seems like there are a bunch that follow different paths too. Maybe the idea is to appeal to the fans who didn't like the way the, uh, other... counterpart, went. Or maybe it's just the creator's preference. Who knows.

I've only read "various heroines" so far and watched a few episodes of the anime...I've gotta say...I prefer the manga over the anime specifically because in the anime it doesn't concentrate just on kouichi. Then again....the anime concentrates on the girls' daily life >_>
All I'm saying is...spare no love on the red head guy >:-( >_>

I have seen every episode of the anime and it splits time between the leads.
