Just like the title said i'm searching for NON-samurai jidaigeki/period japanese movies, Maybe it's a bit difficult if there are no samurai theme at all so i'll allow it a little but The samurai/sword fighting theme must be not the main theme.
The perfect example of what i'm looking for Is Kakekomi [url]http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3989744/[/url] a 2015 movie about wifes seeking divorce by running away to Tokei-ji Buddhist Temple in 19th century japan.
the Horror themed movie like onibaba are also welcomed
please recommend me something similar to that...
