why is this manga under a romance and harem tag?. Isnt a Harem manga supposed to be one where more than 2 girls are going after 1 man? So far, none of the girls have shown any interest in Satan romatically. Like Negima is a harem manga coz more than one girl have shown they have feelings for Negi but in Shina Dark not even the Two princesses have shown that they have feelings for Satan when they are with Satan most of the time let alone the town girls who barely speak with Satan. I just dont get it coz so far all there is in this manga is Echi 664g1w

In a harem, there doesn't have to be necessarily romance.

Shina Dark is a harem, however, it is not a romance.

and its the only reason why i cant see myself picking it up, i just cant really get into a harem manga without some romance. what a shame the art looked so good to ... 🙁 if it has romance in it later then ill pick it up, i just hope someone posts up that it has romance in it afterall (in later chapters) ..

Though there is no romance it's still a pretty good read, and you never know when the romance might hit later on. Though I do agree we need some romance in Shina Dark since Satan is awesome.

harem implies a bit of romance like negima shin dark is neither harem is when 3 or more show romantic feelings for one person

there actually is slight hints of romance involved with Shina Dark it's just that it's really well hidden under the current circumstances of the story. both Princesses have stated they were willing to be more to Satan actually. but he put the offer down since he felt it was something forced in the end. it might pick up later though, since it's basically the first half actually.
and it does qualify as a harem since the women of the island were actually brought over to be his brides. even if he didn't exactly act on it.

In the most recent chapter the two girls who were elected to become the "princess's" or whatever they're called, have finally acknowledged their interest in satan. Towards the end of the latest chapter (Volume 4 Ch. 20) they both have kind of "romantic" moments with satan and later on they both look at each other and one of them (forgot the name) states something like "I won't lose to you" and it seems to be in reference to a "competition" for satans love. And when the maid is looking at the old portrait of a lady it seems as though satan had once been in love with her - which is the cause of satans comion and understanding of all the "sacrificed" women.

So far there hasn't been much romance to speak of, however I think it'll start picking up and I'm pretty excited for it. You should give this series credit, that instead of like typical harems where all the girls fall in love with the guy almost instantaneously, this one has developing relationships. I'm not sure if the technical definition of harem means 3 or more girls who have romance with the guy, and it doesn't really bother me. I don't think people should take it so literal, besides there have been other girls who have tried to become romantic with satan and there are others who have shown iration towards him. i think there will be even more people who fall in love with him, since his true intentions and personality are being recognized more and more with each chapter.

They should make an anime series out of it. Like the story and the idea... sort of like Tears to Tiara where the bad guy is not really a bad guy... 😛
