Well, now that it's actually finished and fully scanlated, what are your thoughts on the ending of this fine manga? 5f57g

Felt a bit anti-climatic to me.

Maybe a bit anti climatic buuuut - i think for a Harem it ended well

Usually i dont like the endings to these because you always end up a feeling a little bad for the other girls (i.e. ichigo100. . .) i like how the mangaka went through and set up each one of the charaters so that you were happy for them as well as the main charactor

Overall a good comic i think - glad i read it

I felt like it lacked solid closure. Hachibei was still a parts lover and his harem actually grew while an actual relationship never formed. But what do i care? I love this series still and am a bit sad it had to end

Well the final two volumes were pretty nice and were concluding really good the story but the final scene kinda threw me a little. As a harem and so similar with Love Hina I was expecting something like maybe reacting to the other member of the dorm and they with him but he kinda overdid it with all those women and instead of a high there was a low... like the whole business between the two of them didn't really matter and that would be only acceptable imho only if it kept a somewhat looser and lighter attitude through the whole series. If you are going through the trouble to give it a serious - even a little - side and conclude with confessions and all then don't cheapen it right at the end....
Well that's me. I don't know for you but I will prefer to it different in my mind; he returns and there is a a lot of excitement and scenes with misunderstandings and situations with all the dorm tenants - the old ones not the new ones - and finally the scene with Sakuraku... maybe with a kiss...

It was not too bad, considering this was a harem where the "couples" had several chapters of their own aside from the principle couple chapters. The one thing I felt that was kind of misplaced was the whole ex-boyfriend thing. If anything I wanted him to get drop kicked after trying to do a repeat.

The ending not too bad, because she finally said I love you. Personality is not something that can easily change, and I the heroine also realized that her eyes is what Hachi is also in love with. So she is able to accept the "shallow" side of him.

Overall descent ending.

Ill be fully content if they ever do a side story detailing hachibes crazy fricken "hitchhike". Anything involving dual weilding an AK and an RPG is worth looking into XD
