This year's 24th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine is announcing on Friday that a television anime adaptation of Hiroyuki's Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to (The Comic Artist and His Assistants) manga has been green-lit. More details will be announced later. 4j2v44

The manga tells the story of professional manga artist Yūki Aito and his professional/personal relationship with his assistants.

The four- slice-of-life comic began in 2008 and ended last year. Hiroyuki began the series again under the title Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to 2 in August. The 10th compiled volume shipped last year.

Another manga by Hiroyuki, Doujin Work, also inspired a television anime.
